It's quick and easy to block spam through Groupwise. First you need to copy the address of whoever it is that is sending you spam mail. Open the spam mail and then select the email address that is listed in the "From:" text field of the header. Copy that address and then click "Tools" in the top menu bar, and then click "Junk Mail Handling" in the menu. This will open the Junk Mail Handling window, which will let you start filtering your email.
In the Junk Mail Handling window, make sure that the check box for "Enable Junk List" is checked under the "Settings' tab. This instructs Groupwise to start filtering your mails.
Next click on the "Junk List" tab and then click on the "New" button. A text box will pop up and you need to paste the email address of your spam sender into that box. Click the "OK" button to add that email address to your spam list.
Once the email address has been added, you will see it listed in your spam list. Click the "Apply" button to instruct Groupwise to start filtering that email address.
If you do not click the "Apply" button, it will cancel your changes, and the address will not be filtered.
After clicking the "Apply" button Groupwise will start filtering all the addresses listed in your spam list. It will also display the number of times it has blocked a spam mail from each address under the "Count" category. Click "OK" to close the Junk Mail Handling window. Remember you can always come back to this window later to add or remove email addresses from your spam list in the future.
